Supporting the Work of The Ministry:

The heart and vision of Shepherd's Watch is to provide spiritual and practical care to front line ministers and their families while they are serving in the field. The restorative and refreshing work of The Holy Spirit is vital in strengthening and encouraging the "sent ones" on those front lines of The Gospel's advance throughout the world.

Our teaching emphasis is to equip our care givers with the vision and training to effectively carry out this vital service to the laborers in the field. Jesus directed His disciples to pray to The Lord of The Harvest for laborers to be sent into the fields that were ready to be gathered in to His Kingdom. Our focus is to support and refresh those laborers that have answered that call.

As it is with any productive labor of love and care, those efforts require resources to be carried out to fruition. We have committed our life and treasure to present this ministry to The Lord for His service and glory. We are so grateful for the many wonderful co-laborers that share their prayers and treasure with us in this ministry.

The vision for refreshing and caring for front line ministers has continued to grow in scope and size. A numbers of years back, God spoke to our hearts about creating a ministry center attached to our home that could serve as a peaceful transition station for workers returning from the field or for those embarking on their first journey or returning to work in those fields.

We have drawn up the plans and have engaged a contractor to begin the work this fall, (2020). The cost of this "Elijah Room" is fairly substantial and we have raised a considerable sum to get the work started. During a recent board meeting, a scripture was given in response to developing a strategy for raising funds to complete this vision. That scripture is found in Habakkuk 2:2 which says: "Then the LORD answered me and said, "Record the vision And inscribe it on tablets, That the one who reads it may run."

Declaring the vision is meant for the hearers so that they may know how to position themselves to assist in fulfilling that vision. Plainly spoken, we need financial assistance to complete this next step in providing effective pastoral care to the shepherds and laborers in the fields of harvest!

We trust that God is speaking through this declaration and moving upon the spirits of those that will assist us in fulfilling our call to care for the care givers. You can follow this link to give whatever God directs you to give:
