About Us

The couple who lead Shepherds Watch have been married for 48 years and have three children and six grandchildren.  The Lord called them from dairy farming and teaching school to go to missionary school in 1991.  They have been working in missions since that time.

A key Scripture in their call has been Amos 7:14,15.  
Then Amos said to Amaziah, "I am not a prophet, nor the son of a prophet; for I am a herdsman and a grower of sycamore figs.  But the Lord took me from following the flock and the Lord said to me, 'Go prophecy to my people Israel.' "

They have huge hearts for caring for missionaries both in the field and in home locations, and for the past 23 years they have been involved in doing member care and in training others to do member care as well.

The Lord gave them the vision for Shepherds Watch as they were ministering to missionaries in the field during their early years in missions.  Then in 2007 they established Shepherds Watch in order to have a way to train others to care for missionaries.

In the following years Shepherds Watch has enabled them to hold a number of training seminars as well as to continue ministering to missionaries on the field.
